What follows is a chronologically ordered list of Eilís Dillon’s works. This list will be useful to researchers (particularly when we get it right), but more palatable versions of the same information, broken down by category and linked to further illustrated pages, can be found elsewhere on this site.
This list contains (or should contain) eight novels, three detective stories and thirty-eight books for young people. There are also two plays, an autobiographical history, a translation and some editions. Unpublished works are not listed, although this may be done in future versions of the site.
